There is something deeply wrong with America that we need guns to be so accessible that we sell them next to heads of lettuce

Deceptive...and intentionally so.

Kroger is also the name of the corporation so it is not deceptive.
-
Look through the replies and see how many were fooled by the words, "nation's largest grocery store chain."
-
It’s still not “deceptive” it’s factual.
-
Yes. If people read the story. But many will only read the headline (as we've seen) and begin talking about it. How many people know Fred Myer is a subsidiary of Kroger...especially those in regions without them? At the very least, it's misleading.

Every single store in America should stop selling guns permanently and then school children will feel safer in the classroom
-
I'd feel much safer if teens were banned from driving while texting.
-
You are right they should be. All children should be educated about the dangers of mobile phones in cars and the penalties for using one should be severe. If they kill someone whilst using one they should be charged with manslaughter
-
Good idea! Let's move the legal driving age and voting age to 21 as well.
-
If they're moving the age to purchase a gun to 21 they should also make that for inlisting in the military....
-
Let's not forget the bump up on voting age
can't have a gun or join military... Not mature enough to make decisions regarding government administration and legislation. -
I agree with all of this.
-
Add in 21 to own smartphone or any device that does anything more than calling other devices, while we're restricting all of the deadly behaviors. Oh, and heroin. Only 22 and older, please.

In other news, McDonald's announces it will no longer sell AR-15's.
-
False. They are no longer available in Happy Meals. Still available on regular menu.
-
Oh, that's good news. I was afraid I was going to have to start getting mine at White Castle.
