It’s fine to make the schools safer but then the nut case will be waiting on the curb as the kids exit. Get these killing machines out of people’s hands who shouldn’t have them.

# Licensed to Kill, the second mendment to the US Constitution; "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." A Consttutional change is required. Repeal 2nd amendment.

Having security guards that don’t hide, police that actually enter dangerous situations, an FBI that follows up on leads, a mental health system that helps individuals who call asking for help... that’s a start But lets blame the gun instead
-
Till the guy w/an automatic weapon is sitting outside the school waiting to mow them down...this young man should never have had access to this rifle.
-
if he wanted to find a rifle bad enough to do something this sick, he would have. What's your plan? Take all guns from all law abiding citizens?
-
Abso, utely not, just thinking the ones where the police are outgunned those w/high capacity magazines and auto or semi automatic weapons should be looked at whether they are really necessary in our society. U could probably make an argument that they should stay.
-
Fully automatic weapons are federally banned.
-
The Federal Assault Weapons ban enacted in 1994 expired in 2004....
-
Correct that that particular ban expired, but that ban doesn’t apply to fully automatic weapons (which have been either banned or very heavily regulated since 1934). This is the ban you’re looking forpic.twitter.com/Z8shsYa8OE

Only a Fascist would embrace the Nazi doctrine of collective guilt. Law-abiding gun owners committed no crimes in Parkland. Thusly, we cannot be held responsible for the actions of a criminal. Holding Person A accountable for crimes committed by Person B is tyranny & Fascism.
-
I’ve never killed anyone driving a car yet I have to wear seatbelts when I drive and it’s against the law to drive drunk.
-
Fascist bleating. Serf. Seatbelt laws are tyranny. Not Big Brother's job to protect you from you. Driving drunk poses an imminent risk to the liberty & lives of others. My guns in a safe just sit there and pose no risk to anybody.
-
You don’t even hear the hypocrisy in the last part of your response do you?

-
I have lots of guns and have been watching them intently. They just sit there. Serf.
-
‘’Poses imminent threat’ .... And you keep signing your comments as serf? Stop beating yourself up man!
-
No, you're the serf for thinking Big Brother is going to protect you from an object which just sits there.
-
Back to the vehicle comparison, no preconceived notions that big brother will protect anyone from traffic deaths. But, common sense rules make it a little safer. Sounds like you need an island...
