Great news. At least the big stores are doing something since our government won’t. #Votethemout

BIG GOVERNMENT FAIL: National Instant Criminal Background Check System only works if states submit the information but…they don’t! Joke on Americans. Government rarely does anything right!http://wapo.st/2EYCVXK

I don't have a problem with banning assault-style weapons, I do have a problem with raising the age to 21. What about all the young men and women who live rurally and go hunting at 17-18 - 19 etc. How is this fair to them. Have we forgotten not all 18-20 yr olds are bad.
-
Let’s be honest. There are kids who go hunting as teenagers. They just do the same they’ve done for years. Use their parents gun.
-
I learned target shooting/safety @ camp. Asked dad for a pistol for my b-day. Got it. I was 16. Still have it. I’m 64.
-
I doubt circumstances have changed much in gun ownership for those that hunt or target shoot. If I wanted a beer under the age of 21 my parents could buy it for me. Same if I wanted a firearm.

So at what point do these feel good policy changes end up in court based on AGE discrimination? i.e. Cake case out of Colorado. AGE is a protected class and subject to the same anti discrimination laws that apply to Race, gender, religion etc.

I'm wondering if Walmart understands its customer base. The places where this might be popular are places that have worked to keep Walmart stores out.

We normally would not consider Wal-Mart as one of top places to purchase our weapons.

Changing the age to buy alcohol never stop anybody
-
But it did cut back on age related alcohol deaths

GOOD FOR THEM! As private corporate businesses, both companies have the right to sell WHAT they want, to LIMIT quantities, and to REFUSE, for example, to sell alcohol to someone who shows clear indications of [already] being intoxicated.
-
Wrong. Look at the cake case out Colorado. AGE is protected by anti discrimination laws. Retailers choose to discontinue the sell entirely is within their scope. Refusing to sell based on AGE is not. Serving alcohol to an intoxicated person is also against state civil codes
