@FLGovScott YOU are responsible, Mr. A+ NRA. The FBI tip line receives thousands of tips a week with a handful of people to field them. If Governors like you made decisions based on the good of your citizenry, rather than your campaign coffers, we’d be in a very different place

No sorry @FLGovScott the FBI blew a tip but your State dropped the ball here. He was able to buy an assault rifle on your watch. If you’re going to point fingers, try looking in a mirror. This is on you.

Whoever rolled back obama regulations should be held accountable. Also those who funded and lobbyed for those rollbacks should be held accountable. Those who made a profit from those roll backs should be held accountable

The Reporters just want to politicize it because Scott is a Republican. They don't want to talk about the FBI... Which should be ANOTHER red flag. Why do the liberals want to brush over ALL OF THE ISSUES w/The FBI right now?

This is the poorest leadership I have seen in a long time. When you are in charge you all share the blame. The blame game is for the playground. #smh You provide no comfort or solutions to the public you supposed to serve.

Each community has numerous schools. No way for PDs to staff each school. School Districts should hire retire officers to staff plain clothes armed security for schools. Many retired officers would love to help. good people and cost effective.

Only issue with this is that everyone (including possible shooters) would know who to Target first. This is why teachers (if they choose/are properly trained) should be allowed to carry and should be known only to PD and school administrators. Even other teachers shouldn’t know.

That is why the are plain clothes. Also, history shows that these shooters are less likely to target any place with armed security. They don’t and can’t handle opposition.

We ask the FBI to do the next to impossible and some how 99% of the time they do it, maybe just maybe politicians could as they should help them by listening to them and at the very least seriously consider what they suggest we do about gun violence. What do we have to lose?
