This young man is astounding. These are incredible moments that will be for the history books.

Incredible. “We aren’t being taken seriously enough. We are old enough to understand why a senator cares about re-election. We understand why people would want to discredit us for their own political purposes. But we will not be silenced.”

So...when guns are banned and a mass shooting happens again, Then what??Shootings will happen with or without gun laws...period.
-
You are correct. No law will eliminate school shootings. No law can eliminate drunk driving accidents. No law can prevent kids from smoking cigarettes. The goal isn't to eliminate -- the goal is to *reduce* the number of incidents. Which is a goal that we all agree upon.

It's awful, isn't it? What's your thoughts on how to help Chicago?
-
I do not have a solution. But, stricter gun laws is obviously not the answer.
-
But it’s a step in the right direction
-
I politely disagree
-
Agree that Illinois probably doesn't need any additional laws just yet -- but Wisconsin and Indiana certainly do. You can buy without a permit and without no waiting period in WI & IN, so guns end up in Chicago.
