There is a point. An AR-15 is an assault rifle (AR) designed to kill humans. It was used for its intended purpose. The question to answer is , why are machines designed to kill people so readily available for the application of that purpose?pic.twitter.com/XcWk9e1Hrg

A r stands for armalite rifle is semi auto and is not a weapon of war.

What can do speaks volumes.

Most handguns are more powerful. Semi auto (one pull one bullet).

Nothing in the 2nd Amendment gives anyone the right to own an AR-15.
-
Then you obviously do not know the history of the 2nd Amendment

If more guns solved the gun violence problem then the US should be the most gun-violent free country on the planet.. which we clearly are not.

The guns have been here the whole time. They're a relatively static variable. Perhaps it would be beneficial to look for contributing factors that coincide with the rate of increase in incidents.
-
The question is this: The rate of mass shootings seems to be increasing. The prevalence of guns hasn't changed. Why would we think that the one is related to the other? Why aren't we looking for a contributing factor that actually coincides with the increase of occurrence?
