-
They will always be available as long as weapon manufacturing forms a large part of the economy & there is a demand for guns in the Country.
-

That's because the media is making this kid into a celebrity. Why in the world would networks show his killers bond hearing yesterday. Come on already Stop PUBLICIZING this. This is a tragedy, Stop making this kid into a media sensation.
-
No, we just have a bunch of crazy people in our Country. Reporting news is appropriate.
-
I agree with reporting news. However, showing each step this killer takes is a bit much. I often ask myself if it's news they are reporting or evoking sensationalism. Every network has top the other. No matter what platform or side your on.
-
I agree there is a thin line between reporting news and sensationalism. Though it's more than just that. The population has been desensitized in large part. Many don't even bat an eye about all the civilians our military kills abroad.
-
Or how many of our military are killed by civilians abroad. I agree, we have been desensitized. This seems to be coming the norm and sickens me. There are many networks out there reporting the news and they all take their own spin on it.
-
Have you noticed how some of these mass shootings have been done by current or ex military? You remember McVeigh? The problem is complex, no silver bullet. Though we need to start somewhere.
-
Yes sir, I agree.
-
You know instead of squabbling with each other over petty politics (referring to the masses) we should come together and workout a solution. I think we could do it, as long as the politicians butted out, and did as they were told by the people.

Yeah maybe if the media wouldn't glorify it to the level they do there would be no copy cat threats.
-
Just this morning scrolled through an article about this and they had a near full-screen image of the POS shooter. Unbelievable.
-
Yep. But let's blame guns! Not the entertainment industry that sells violence by portraying it as cool to our totally desensitized youth who no longer value human life so that they can then get up and preach to us dumb middle Americans about violence and guns.
-
Let's be honest, tho... guns do play a big part, but they're the easy scapegoat. There are so many other societal factors involved which is why nobody knows what to blame or where to start.
-
They do and sensible gun control is fine. But it's just a symptom
-
Exactly. Gun control isn't the end-all-be-all solution.
