I love this. But I fear it's normalizing homelessness instead of tackling the whole issue of unaffordable housing.

Need to do both. Tackling unaffordable housing won’t keep hungry people fed today
-
I get that. I just don't want it to a balm to avoid tackling the underlying issue.

Great to see organizations like
@_actionhunger find unique ways to service the homeless. Maybe this type of program will be available in DC in the near future#Homeless#servicesThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

Great idea and effort but nyc crackheads are gonna empty that thing out and sell all of it.
-
Sell to whom? These items don't seem to have much intrinsic monetary value and even if they did, they're available for free.
-
You must not be in inner city areasand seen the things I have seen . I've seen people selling full bags of food given to them by shelters and churches also free. Coats given to them by shelters. Although may not be of intrest to you they will try to sell especially since free
-
You're right, I don't find myself in that environment. I'm just speculating. That just doesn't seem like it would be especially effective. But I don't doubt what you say.

They already have food stamps and homeless shelters. This is a joke.

Love that Christian attitude!

Get down in the trenches with these people and you will change your mind.

I do every week. Shame on you.

Then you know what I'm talking about.
