He is illegal. He needs to go and apply for citizenship. He was here for 30 years and did nothing about it. Shame on him!!

If you are not a citizen or permanent resident, you have the responsibility to ensure that you are legally entitled to remain in country. The government has every right to deport over stayers, and illegal immigrants.
