This has to be the ultimate #fake #BreakingNews. We've known this for YEARS.
-
-
-
Well, it's fake that it's "breaking" but it's hardly fake news.
-
Tired of people watching the news, tv, reading, then calling it all fake. If it’s fake, don’t watch it. Ps the news is supposed to report on things that are actually happening, which is what they’re doing. This battle against the 1st Amend & the “fake news” brewhaha needs 2 stop!
-
Did you even read their comments to understand the point they were trying to make? It sounds like it went over your head.
-
I think it went over your head. She's saying stop calling everything fake. Oiginal poster is saying "we've known for years." This is a first time he has been named by police as a person of interest. So no, we haven't known that ever. Keep up if you're going to talk about others
-
The point is to stop even using the term fake news. It perpetuates that ideology of attacking the first amendment and how much abuse of power and turning tables trump does.

My uncle was an autopsy tech at the LA County Coroner's office and he worked on her and the case. One of the hardest cases he ever had to work on because of the interruptions from LAPD and the constant scrutiny.
-
Really? Did the LAPD pressure him one way or the other? Interesting.
-
Yes! There was pressure on the whole Coroner's office then. My aunt told me that one of the reasons that he got assigned to the autopsy and continued on the case was that they knew he wouldn't let distractions interfere with his job.
-
Which way did they pressure him? Did they want him to give information that would prove their point?
-
I recall Wagner and Walken both being silent, and “coroner to the stars” Thomas Noguchi holding gossipy press conferences about a lot of speculation that seemed to go way beyond autopsy results. Am I remembering it correctly? Didn’t seem helpful. How did that figure into things?
-
That's exactly how I remember it also!
-
No doubt, LAPD & DA’s office were rushing things, as in any high-profile case. The Hillside Strangler trial, which placed big pressure on PD, was just starting, and William Holden had died alone of head wound weeks earlier. Former DA Van de Kamp had just left to run for governor.
-
1. He worked on William Holden also. At the time the Coroner's office had a separate autopsy room for high profile cases. I saw it back in the 80s when he took me on an unofficial tour - I don't know if they still do have a separate room. He got his share of those types of cases.

This is straight up ridiculous. He's been an obvious person of interest in this since day one. Why now? Tired of turning the other way after all these years? I'd imagine Christopher Walken is next?
-
Walken for me is more suspicious...that face said all

It took 30 something years to determine Wagner is allegedly a person of interest? Wow.
