I don't know, I think the victims probably appreciate it. Especially considering how long they were ignored by people in power.

I guess there is that, but I fear appeals after the public outrage moves on, some Trump appointed conservative blogger type Judge quietly overturning the sentence as cruel or something. It can happen.http://www.abajournal.com/news/article/judge_informs_jurors_that_god_told_him_accused_sex_trafficker_isnt_guilty …

I’m glad justice is being served in regards to Larry Nassar, but what about the people who were complicit in his actions? The people who helped cover his actions for 20 years and the people who turned a blind eye to his atrocities are just as guilty. Will justice be served there?

Idk man he might be. Theres some guys that go that change their name and/or names aren't in the public system to protect them. I tried and find someone that was a cop that was locked up for similar charges and I knew where he was and nowhere to be found in the NCDPS system.

Is it me or am i baffled when it come to some of the sentencing handed down by Judges based on the nature of the crime.Sexual assault is terrible and should be punished but my God,many people that murder, usually get off lightly with a slap on the wrist or at worst 50 - 100 years.

Wow i never followed the case that much to learn of the number of victims. But you still have to factor into the equation if he use force or not with any of the victims.

Showing clear bias and potential ulterior motive in the sentencing. I hope there is legal precedent for the sentence.

While I see your point, my thought is given the enormous attention that this case garnered, the judge would probably be VERY cautious to not do ANYTHING to create a reversible error. To put these victims through that would be unconscionable.
