Judge Aquilina, as she hands down Nassar's sentence: "As much as it was my honor and privilege to hear the sister survivors, it was my honor and privilege to sentence you. Because, sir, you do not deserve to walk outside of a prison ever again." http://cbsn.ws/2Bre9wR pic.twitter.com/MQHhrP4T4S

I can’t believe that after all the statements of the survivors people can still comment that the judge wants to “get her fame”. GET OVER YOURSELF. Do you realize that Larry Nassar is a pedophile?! He sexually abused countless women and girls. Is it so inconceivable that someone
-
that is human and has children could be so disgusted by his actions that she has a lot of say on it? Things that some people may deem as long winded but others actually want and care to hear? It’s actually disgusting that people would be so bothered by the clear affect the
-
statements had on her and claim she’s just trying to get famous after. When anyone in their right mind could and would have lots to say to someone as despicable as Larry Nassar. Especially after pleading guilty. I can’t understand why people are so quick to simply GET OVER the
-
fact that this man is disgusting and a statement from a judge is hardly a punishment because he deserves to get countless lectures and more than that. It’s questionable that people would still have sympathy for someone so heinous and disturbing.

The judge is a drama queen and after she read his statement I'm not sure if he's guilty. Was it medical or criminal. The statement mentioned that the FBI didn't charge him. I hope that he appeal. Is this really justice?

holy cow, the Judge is seriously playing it up for the camera!!
-
Yep. Judges who try to make a name for themselves should be fined, suspended and demoted to juvenile court.
-
Right now is the time to support the victims; save critique of the judge for later or never... We can do better, men.

whoa, slow down there Jim, never said i didn't support the victims. In fact, my critique is the judge not thinking about the victims, but thinking about herself and the camera...and her audition today was shameless
-
I agree with both of you actually. Today was definitely for the victims, yet the judge seemed to be auditioning for a reality show. Thanks for not calling me a pedophilia defender for my opinion though

That's right...and in his admission statement (where he is supposed to admit guilt and say what he did) he tried to claim he was the victim of a media blitz and mis-directed female empowerment. DISGUSTING.
Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

Judge trying to get that TV show for real.
-
She's doing quite well where she is. And, since she turned down interviews with the press, you can hardly accuse her of seeking attention. She did not ask for the cameras in the courtroom.

A man who sexually assaulted multiple young girls is getting sent to jail but all people can do is criticize the judge?
I really don’t understand people sometimes... - 1 more reply
