        Reg E will cover the transactions and provisional credits will more than likely be given within 24 hrs. It also sounds like "the bills" were already paid twice already.

        Imagine if your mortgage payment was $1400, and your ins pymt was $700. That is an extra $2100 out of your account. Millions of people live paycheck to paycheck. So if one goes to buy groceries or gas to get to work... too bad for them? I’m sure their boss will understand.

        I used to work for a bank and when it happened we did everything we could to treat each of those on a case by case basis including but not limited to instant provisional credit. Some people just like to blow things way out of proportion.

        I worked for a bank as well. It’s not blowing something out of proportion when yet again, this bank is at the minimum causing an inconvenience for its customers. I’m sure there were plenty of people who were shocked when they looked at their accounts...

        and didn’t have time to wait on hold for an HOUR just to speak with someone to maybe get $100. It’s ridiculous this even happened in the first place.

        Yes, I made a mistake. I’ll point out that you did as well. Technically WF has 4 days to correct the problem, 3 days to investigate, and one day to correct. But consumers still had to let the bank know. The whole thing is unacceptable.
