This husband was led with false hope by Obama... Obama knew...There is paperwork to become citizens,it's that simple... The Democrats are now holding the DACA up because they can't agree with Trump on a Wall... Blame democrats,Not Trump!

DACA wouldn't cover this guy, first of all. And they were plainly trying every legal measure and were denied for 'reasons', and now you're demanding that Democrats give Trump what he wants to bail Republicans out of their own mess. I

He was American, they get deported all the time due to technicalities that are often reversed after they are brought to the attention of responsible, rational authorities. ICE is a rogue branch of government that needs more oversight, and better vetting of officers

He is American, basically naturalized after so long. Its only right that he is awarded citizenship, its not like he was engaged in criminal behavior or he would have been deported long ago. He worked hard to be in the country, he paid his share he didn’t ride welfare.

All the taxes Mr. Garcia has paid should be refunded to his family! The employer who hired him should be fined $$$$ knowing he was undocumented. Don't just blame him, spread it around to everyone involved in this tragedy!

This doesn't make sense to me. He's been here 30 years and he's married to a U.S. Citizen? There's more to this story.

You can’t “apply” for citizenship if you’re here illegally. Congress needs to fix it. Also, people here illegally do not get government assistance. Perhaps media outlets can clear this up for ppl who have zero understanding of the law but spout off anyway 🙄
