How can we call ourselves American when this is allowed to happen especially when there's no evidence of criminal background so sad!!!

No actually.. it’s a good thing to uphold the law , but again if you don’t have all the facts in someone’s situation, how about you not judge them and act all high and mighty

Another thing we brought on ourselves we allowed people to come to this country for years now we have a racist President who is shining the light on this hiding his whole racist agenda and now all of a sudden you and others are jumping on his bandwagon you didn't say anything,

Seems to me we must ask ourselves three fundamental questions: (1) what kind of nation do we want to be? (2) what kind of people are we today? And, what kind of humans do we want our children to be tomorrow?

Seeking a better life is no crime. Otherwise, most Americans, except Native Americans, are criminals. Mr. Garcia lived a "law abiding" life in America for over 30 years. His only crime was doing what most of our forefathers did - seek a better life.

Why is this so sad? It’s not like they didn’t have 30 years to become a citizen

Becoming a citizen is very difficult. It requires a sponsor with a lot of money. The people who have been here most their life should have an easier way to stay. #notcriminals

Uhh I’m not sure what you mean here but since the person in question was brought to the United States as a child. There is no path to citizenship besides returning to where they immigrated from and applying for a green card

Exactly Or not being able to be approve for a green card so they aren’t able to get citizenship either way.
