There will come a day when no one will want to become a teacher, knowing the pay is so low and how little respect they will get. When that happens, most children will be required by law to be home schooled.

Why require them to be schooled at all? Already conservatives seem to favor putting them to work instead of feeding them.

Report notes she is a former "teacher of the year" too. What kind of message does this send to the kids? "Question those in management and you will be taken away in handcuffs?" Not a good civics lesson.

Ah, she questioned the alpha-male's salary. Never question the alpha-male for they are a fragile creature and prone to violence.

Agh crazy they think they are still plantation owners who can bully women. How embarrassing for Abbeyville and my home state. This is not 1950 or 1850 no matter what Trump says. Small Louisiana towns are notorious for human rights violations .

I'm from Central Louisiana, and totally get what you are saying. The "iron fist" of a few still control the land.

This report doesn't show her volunteering to leave. She was ALREADY walking out after the cop first approached her. WHY is she assaulted in the hallway outside if she is already leaving?
