one reason why is cause so many kids are not being taught how to use a gun and not to point it anything they do not intend to kill or hurt.

Fireworks, esp. sparklers, hurt kids' eyes, too. Sunglasses would offer some protection from projectiles, but kids should wear gogles for pain balling or pellet shooting. And while mowing the lawn. Fireworks should be illegal.
