I inferred that the Cuban doctors did not believe they could remove the tumor. I agree it is tragic and horrifying. This article inspires questions, such as whether doctors communicate across borders seeking help for such children, and who pays for it.

Agreed, it is tragic. And marred in red tape. But they did remove it, so it's a win. And I wish him well.
