Your headline on a tragedy calls out a guy that was killed-publicly getting in one last jab that he was a sex offender. What the hell is wrong with you? You then recall the tweet and reword it. Message is still the same @CBSNews you wonder why the public doesn’t like the media.
Too late CBS. The fact that anyone there even thought that tweet was OK to post in the first place speaks volumes about the media. Sad times when even the Enquirer behaves better than you. Keep the child who posted that tweet away from your account.
That's exactly what authorities were doing and he wasn't in violation of his parole. There was absolutely no valid reason CBS has to excuse that tweet other than they used a recently deceased human being's PAST for click bait.
She doesn’t have to show you shit.
Child pornography is disgusting, but still not rape.
You don’t know the full story. All you saw was sex offender and you assumed he was a rapist. You are the problem here.
All life is to be respected and protected. Even if the man was a pedo, he is still human and his life has meaning. As I see it, he was convicted, did his time, and was living to the ethical standard we all embrace. Ones past does not always have to define ones future.
Tell that to the parents of the kids he jerked off to. I’m sure they would agree with you. Give me a break.
I'm not saying he wasn't a sick individual, but he was still a human being and his life, as well as all life, mattered. That's all. His death shouldn't be celebrated.
You won't find me defending the actions of sex offenders, but why would you headline this part of the story? Is it supposed to somehow be a silver lining? You changed the phrasing of the Tweet, but the article is still completely unnecessary.
