Since the economy is doing so well, as Trump's tweets suggest, we should use tax revenue to pay national debt.

You can blame former President Obama for most of that debt, he raised it from around 9 trillion to over 20 trillion in he 8 years , that he was president. So now you democrats are screaming foul that when president trump may or may not raise it by 1 trillion in the next 10 years.

Yet, who raised the debt and approved it? Congress. We have to pay the bills. It’s going to clime another 6 or 8 before trump leaves.

No it’s not, Obama’s fucked all of us with the democrats at the helm, they love spending our money, trump is actually cutting that down to a eight year period for only 1/8 of what obama’s democrats have done

Remember that Obama doubled the debt of ALL prior presidents combined. COMBINED!

"Deficits don't matter," Former VP Dick Cheney. Where was the outrage when the Bush administration blew the projected surplus and set us back on this path. Will you be as outraged when Trumponomics creates even more debt?

Hilarious. So in a game of one-upmanship Obama was trying to beat the Bush record? Yes Bush increased national debt from 6 to 9 trillion. Obama increased it from 9 to 19 trillion. #ThanksObamapic.twitter.com/mvJ2yhhW6h

Your missing the point. When the Reagan tax cut exploded the deficit, we heard the mantra "deficits don't matter." We heard it again when Bush(43) turned a projected surplus into spiraling deficits. Why are deficits only a concern when a dem is in the white house?

Your sophistry requires uninformed people to confound deficit with debt. A deficit EQUAL to the total debt only ever happened once when Obama - a Dem - was in the White House. Deficit isn't a big deal COMPARED to spending beyond your means by an amount equal to your total debt!

Also, growing deficit by giving money back to taxpayers is a disingenuous use of term "growing deficit" as opposed to actually spending the money on Wall Street or war like Dubya and Obama did.pic.twitter.com/60Wf2rO41Q
