It's funny that people are claiming fake news. This actually shows the opposite. Mistake gets made, corrected, and people are held accountable. Shows that the media is actually truthful, but keep living in your delusions.
No it shows they got busted and are trying to save face.
No this is what news organizations do when mistakes are made. They made a serious mistake in reporting a single sourced article on such big news.
Journalism has been put aside for ideology. Ratings aren't really a factor for them any more. @ABCNews is not a cash cow for ABC network.
And yet @FoxNews spews #FakeNewsِ every day and no one admits it or gets suspended. Good on @ABC for dealing with this and admitting error!
What about the people who dropped the ball on vetting the story? If they had done their job this may not have happened.
Is anyone concerned about the 1600 false statements the POTUS has made with Zero attempts to correct? I am
Considering that they've almost never done this before, is @ABC responding to threats from the administration and making Brian Ross a scapegoat to retain 'access'? Sorry, this reeks.
They were slammed for it, so PR wise, this helps them. It was a pretty big gaffe though... created some mayhem, affected the stock market.
Seems like on that basis the entire crew @FoxNews should be suspended for twelve months
How come when the "president" fucks up the truth, he doesn't get suspended?
With pay I’m sure, suspension/holiday.
It says w/o pay.
Come on - those are the last words in the word image. Like, at the very end. Nobody - and I mean NOBODY - is expected to read the last two words of any block of text. It's just not done.
