That mother of
#MariahWoods reminds me of that faker Susan something who pushed her car with her baby boys into a lake to keep her boyfriend. -
Agree, you can see she put on makeup for Media

I've been in the news business for 35 years, and in most of these cases, it ends up being the mother. Don't be surprised.
-
You hate to think someone could snatch a child in the middle of the night. So you almost hope that’s the case. Also, everyone is different but I don’t think I’d think to put makeup on after my child has disappeared. Prayers the child is okay.
-
I hope the kid is OK too, just telling you my decades of experience tells me it doesn't pass the smell test.
-
And I agreed. it’s odd. She put makeup on.
-
And that there are no tears. Her eyes are pretty much dry.. Let's not have another Casey Anthony, please Dear God...
-
I'm not saying she didn't do it, I'm just saying everyone grieves differently. It took me months to cry after losing my mom. I tried to force myself because I had it all bottled up and just couldn't. Months later the dam broke and the floods came and I was finally able to mourn.
-
I don't know if she did it or not but in my decades of covering 100's of these type stories it usually turns out to be the mother. I hope I'm wrong and the kid is OK, but my experience tells me otherwise.

Honestly, I'd be mental & having a GD nervous breakdown. No way could I be calmly speaking to cameras. I'd be out looking for my baby till i found her! Nobody would stop me either. This is Fishy. Susan Smith fishy

I would have to be sedated.

I'm from NC. As soon as I saw this mother on TV the hair on the back of my neck stood up. I always like to give benefit if the doubt to the parents, but something isn't right with this story.
-
Because...
-
Her affect during the interview. Something is off. I hope I'm wrong. This is very similar to another case we had in NC several yrs ago. Disabled daughter went missing from home...same story almost exactly...stepfather had killed her. I really really hope I'm wrong.
-
Understood. I thought she was pretty convincing but my wife would be INSANE during that interview
-
Yeah, I def want to be careful b/c my gut feelings aren't evidence. Also, I'm reading conflicting stories. The ones earlier said the boyfriend saw her at 11 & told her to go back to bed. This one says the mother checked in on...cont

...her at 11. I don't like changing stories altho the media may be wrong on their side. I always think the worst b/c I'm addicted to Dateline, 48 Hours, IDTV [my hubby calls it my murder porn]. See, if it were my child I wouldn't be crying & begging for my child back...i would...

...be looking into the camera demanding my child back. I would be the worst person to give an intvw. So I try not to judge, but something doesn't make sense. And if something doesn't make sense then it's a lie. [I learned that from Judge Judy, not murder porn FWIW]

I've live in NC all my life and had never heard of Jacksonville, NC. It's not a major town that I know of so it's prob smaller & rural. You never lock your doors, unless it's a high crime area. You know your neighbors. But sexual predators could be anywhere.
