I find millennials more scary than death and credit card debt combined.

I fear Student Loan Debt as much as I fear modern indentured servitude.

I bet that if the same research is done in Japan it'll be like 75% of millennials fear debt and 5% fear death.

There is a simple way to not get in credit card debt..live within your means.
-
Just because someone is afraid of something doesn't mean it's affecting them at the moment. You could live in a place with no venomous snakes but still be scared of those snakes... fear isn't always based on what's happening to you right now.
-
Correct. My point is that it’s easily avoidable, I lived mainly off ramen noodles in college and for a year or two after, while working. Now I can afford a lot more. People like to pretend them getting in deep debt is someone else fault.
-
No, fearing deep debt isn't the same as saying it's someone else's fault. Get off your fucking high horse. Fearing deep debt is literally just that: fear of debt.
-
And why shouldn't people fear it? There's no guarantee what kind of job we're going to be able to get, no matter how much experience or education we have in what field. Future paychecks are not guaranteed, but the immense debt is.
-
I'm about 2 years from going almost $200k into debt so I can pay for school and support myself and a family someday. Is that someone else's fault? No, of course not, I'm choosing to do it. Is it fucking scary as shit to know I'll have to pay back nearly twice that? Of course.

Can I ask what degree you’re pursuing?
