Ikea is known for shitty instructions and recalls on dresserspic.twitter.com/e8UeFJoodg

I guess some people are just too stupid to understand what this means:pic.twitter.com/EKgqDm4nU2

Sad a child lost their life because parents were willfully idiots

That's the Darwin aspect there. It's sad, but that's how nature works. Genes not up to the task of surviving get killed off. That child never stood a chance.

Not for nothing, I build the original unit and instructions stated anchor to wall.

Change the name from dresser to “kid Krusher” and then even the stupid people will understand what can happen with large pieces of unsecured furniture

If you are not able to assemble the dressers correctly, incl mounting them to the wall as stated in the instructions, and are to lazy/stupid to raise your little gobshites properly it's NOT IKEA's fault.

my entire life, we knew that these dressers were dangerous but we still had them and I never climbed on them. The directions also state the danger of not securing them to the wall—on the first page!

Or Ikea should only allow customers who pass an IQ test first. Could be fairly quick, get a customer card, and no accidents will happen ever again. If you refuse to read the instructions and die because of it, it's called Darwin's law, and I'm okay with that.
