NEW: The FCC has unveiled its plan to repeal net neutrality rules. The plan would give internet providers broad powers to determine what websites and online services their customers can see and use http://cbsn.ws/2Aj3MyZ pic.twitter.com/U76l1AmcFC

That is actually FALSE and is NOT what "net neutrality" is about. It is not about CONTENT, it is about prioritizing TYPES of traffic when the network is congested.

Prioritization of traffic only occurs when the network is at congestion. There is no way to send a packet of data FASTER or SLOWER when the network is not congested. CBS is furthering a false narrative here. In other words, they're lying.

Then you know you can purposely drop packets for any reason that an ISP would decide. Or delay HTTP requests. Or wait, you don't know that. Stop.

I do not know of a single piece of network gear by any vendor that has a "drop this packet" configuration command UNLESS the network is saturated, the buffer is full, and a decision must be made on WHICH packet to be dropped.

When the network is not saturated and the buffer is not full, traffic is not dropped. Routers are built to route traffic. There is no "randomly drop these packets" configuration item. You have no fucking clue what you are talking about.
