Well my friends, all I can say is that Tesla models, cars or trucks, represent without a doubt the future of the industry. Like it or not it's the right direction and in time the world will adjust!

Solar mainly, as Musk has that product too. They sort of go hand in hand.

Tesla is first but the successful electric truck manufacturer will be any or all of #2. #3 #4 companies. The key is batteries - distance factor and time to charge. States & Feds will increase license fees to compensate for lost fuel sales taxes. Productivity gains r ?'able.

If 25% of America's fleet of vehicles - cars, buses, trucks - become electric, can the infrastructure - grid & power generating plants - provide the electricity? If not (probably the situation) who will pay for the upgrades? What will be the source of electricity? Nuclear or Gas?

That thing must haul 40+ tons of cargo up and down steep terrain through bad weather etc... I don't have my hopes up for this one.

And truck driving employs a lot of people and keeps them off the streets. What are you going to do if it works?

This is BS. They made this announcement to cover the fact they are losing money fast, have no idea how to mass produce cars and probably will be out of business within a year.
