“A predator is accused of recording himself raping a woman. “ Being concise is a great skill.

And you can go ahead and take the "accused" out of there since it's recorded

The word you're looking for is rape. Rape is not sex. Do better.
-
It's amazing the mental gymnastics they go through to avoid using that word.
-
The word "with" stands out to me, too. Kind of underscores that the word sex means both people participate willingly.

"A 20-year-old college student is accused of recording himself RAPING an unconscious woman".. fixed it for you

Looks like CBS was shamed into fixing the headline. And good.
-
They may have changed the title but the article still says "having sex with" and only mentions rape as one of the charges (which was originally dropped too...) so it isn't any better
-
Was the original post here also the article title? Could've just been a caption to share multiple times? Just curious
-
Like click bait. It lures people in with the caption of the tweet, typically different from the actual article title. I literally replied to the second tweet's thread, I got it tho

-
My tweet had nothing to so with click bait. Just the wording.

"Having sex with" is a lot more characters than "raping"
-
Exactly what I was coming here to say!
