Well well well- what is this? GOPers that actually work for their constituents??

I assure you,
@RepLeeZeldin rarely works for his constituents, this is probably the first time he stood up to the GOP. He takes $ from Mercer and the NRA and refuses to hold a town hall to hear from his constituents. -
He is most likely voting NO because he knows it will pass anyway without him. Just so he can appear to have his constituent’s backs.
@RepLeeZeldin is toast in 2018 -
Good info! Thanks for your comment!

Never forget he voted for AHCA, he is not a champion of health care, just money.
-
He voted no, but didn’t seem to be lobbying his coworkers to his side did he?
-
just boasting on television

Why not work on a plan together that will actually benefit the people you work for?

Your no vote is meaningless- I have voted for you in the past - never again - you must be held accountable if this or senate bill become law

On my last count, this would make 0-for-4 in terms of major legislation accomplished by the Trump administration.... let that ineptitude sink in for a while.
-
Because a few GOP are listening to their conscience a little, at least.
-
I won't disagree with you on that point as much of this bill is simply lunacy. Mine was directed at how pitiful of a ruling party they have come to be.
-
If we got rid of the dem/repub labels & got $$ out of politics, we would again be the strongest country in the world.
-
Unfortunately neither of those can be practically completed in the near future. The parties have too much power, and enough people won't vote for someone who won't win. Second, Citizens United is the law of the land. Will simply need to improve oversight in campaign financing.
-
We still must work for campaign finance reform.
-
Agreed like I said above. Unfortunately, our system is very reactionary instead of being proactive, which has been the crux of the issue since 2000. Should be interesting to see if/how they follow through on cleaning this up.

Lee Zeldin voted no, but he knows if it was a yes he will be out! Why are you regretting that at this time your vote is a no?? So basically if the salt tax wasn't taken away, everything else in the bill you would have voted for!! Mean taking away mandate for Medicare,Medicaid!
