An iceberg the size of Delaware — the largest ever recorded — broke off from Antarctica. NASA just shared close-up images of the behemoth ice chunk.pic.twitter.com/47NSk4lYyO

But But But @EPAScottPruitt keeps pushing that global warming is a hoax. I’m so confused. Maybe they can gorilla glue that chunk of ice back together again.

Check with any glaciologists and they all will tell you it has happened all through the Holocene. West Antarctica is inherently unstable because of geothermal activity. Look it up.

Antarctic geothermal activity... look it up, this was bound to happen even without man made global warming

Like I've been saying for many years IT DOESN'T MATTER what caused the climate changes (argue later) WHAT are we going to do about it?

glad i'm not the only one who thinks so. #climatechange is REAL.but i for one don't mind very much if it's man made or caused by a transsexual chipmunk. we have to act NOW. the longer the discussion prevails, the less time is on our side. nothing against #COP23 but talk is cheap.

Tax cuts written by climate deniers seem quaint as the Earth implodes.

Please research the current geothermal activity taking place in Antarctica. Man made global warming or not this was going to happen. Geothermal activity is actually melting far more snow and ice than greenhouse gases trapping heat.

To my understanding the one is exacerbating the other (both heatings reinforce each other) though correct to say high levels of geothermal activity under the continent - and more natural liquid water than thought apparently

It just aint no secret that the earth is getting warmer. We're getting closer to the sun everyday. I guess the deniers say there's no reason to care about climate change if we're gonna fry anyway..

NASA report February 24, 2017 on Antarctica. Turner et al 2016 West Antarctic Cooling. But more important you need to do your own research. There is a massive amount of scientific literature that will give you much more info than MSM on climate. Natural variability reigns.

I do my own research, but have seen no studies stating Antarctic Penn is cooling. Quite the contrary. I'll check to see if Turner et al is peer-reviewed. The global warming signal has risen above the noise of internal variability, conclusion of most publishing climate scientists.

Let me interpret what you just said. You didn’t look up the NASA report like I told you to do. The problem with you scientific illiterates is you can’t handle the truth. It is all out there. Just look up the NASA report.
