“Last year we learned 67% of women in the U.S. are a size 14 and up, and yet media only represents them 1% to 2% of the time...for us, it was so important to fill that space and celebrate plus size women,” @pieraluisa sayspic.twitter.com/K5dlJA3gPD

... not - advocate for better diets and healthier exercise? Celebrate heart disease?

I’d say that’s an indication that we’re all getting more unhealthy.

Yes, let's celebrate a lack of self-control and all the health problems that come along with being obese, like diabetes. Good idea.

Notice the media doesn't promote how sexy fat men are, how they're underrepresented in media, etc...? 🤣No one should go around insulting obese people, but they shouldn't be celebrated either. Being obese is not something you should be proud of.

They don’t care about that. They just want to be sure the unhealthy are being fairly represented. How pathetic is that?

In a perfect world for liberals healthy people would be made to gain weight so unhealthy people could feel better about themselves.

Should we directly shame individuals for being fat and usually unhealthy? No. But we should shame the idea that being fat and unhealthy is ok. Im not exactly sure what a size 14 is and a size zero seems like it depends on body type more so than workouts. Regardless, health 1st.

Well, if you're trying to fill-up space, plus-sized is the way to go, you don't need as many women that way.
