I too have an invisible handicap. I have MS. There are days when I can barely make it to my car. I'm waiting for the day I get confronted!

How can you safely drive if you “can barely make it to the car”? I have a family member with MS and she doesn’t drive for her own safety and that of others. Now if someone ELSE is driving that’s ok.

Because my feet work perfectly fine. One more misconception of MS. YOU just validated public's ignorance of disabilities.

My pops has pretty severe MS, he rides a motorcycle when he can...not all the time, but he does it...but he has days he can't even move due to nerve pain...people who don't see it, or live with it, have no idea...I have brain tumors, no one can see them, so they assume I'm fine..

Depends. From a medical perspective walking distances is more physically demanding than sitting driving.

No placard, no plates, no HC sticker. No park there. Period. Dont matter if you say your disabled. Thems the rules. I dont call those vandals , they are heros of handicap with permission to park there

not to be insulting but if she feels dizzy and fatigued ... isnt it dangerous for her , and others , to drive? sometimes i do feel like that and in no way i am in the condition of driving.

Yes she did - some of the notes, apparently, accused her of borrowing a placard, or faking one.

If she’s dizzy and fatigued after treatment there’s no way she should be driving much less parking in a handicap spot. If she’s not had a treatment and is, therefore, not dizzy or fatigued she has no legitimate need for a handicap spot. This is an ethical issue she is wrong.

Ethics aside. She was being judged whether or not she required the disabled parking sticker based on her appearance. I have a friend with a bad back. He can drive but he can't walk far. Should he be not allowed the parking for looking healthy?

There is a big difference between someone with an “invisible” disability and someone who has a condition where her treatments make her dizzy and fatigued. If she’s dizzy and or fatigued she has every moral right to park in a blue spot but she sure as heck shouldn’t be driving.

Yes. There is a difference in conditions. But if you do not know. Then you should not second guess the persons need. And many of us do.

I agree that one shouldn’t judge by appearance and I don’t. However my point is still that this woman clearly doesn’t need a disabled spot if she’s not dizzy or fatigued. If she is of course then she needs a blue spot BUT how could she drive in that condition? Hypocrisy!
