This must have been a Bing bus instead of a Google bus

I imagine ppl who blame the autonomous car are the same ones that blamed horses for tipped wagons a couple of decades back...

Don't think I'll travel on a self driving bus.
-
Why not it’s 100% safer
-
How is it safer? You still have other human drivers lol.
-
It doesn't have a human driver, so it is better at avoiding crashes.
-
Obviously this one didn't avoid a crash lol
-
Driver's fault. The car did what it was meant to do in order to avoid the crash, but the semi was unavoidable in this case.

somn dont sound right. I doubt "human error" was the cause. The shuttle probably never stopped and the truck driver had no time to react. -
The shuttle stopped it was the truck driver who failed to see the bus and crashed into ithttps://www.digitaltrends.com/cars/self-driving-bus-crash-vegas-account/ …

read the article, makes a lot more sense now. Things the media, understandably so, left out. Thanks for the read!

All those media & news outlets are publishing articles with click bait titles or fake news

We'll all have to learn to drive like robots - and that's probably a good think, overall.

Ever since the toll roads went in, the big trucks have taken over the public highways and their driving only seems to get worse over time. It's time to reconsider trains.
-
Ever seen train tracks running up to your local grocery store?
-
There is no valid argument against train infrastructure. Once you remove the corruption, it is by far the most efficient system for cargo delivery. Absolutely, irrefutably, and without a doubt.
-
How do you get from train yard to distribution point to store?
-
The way most of Europe and all of Japan does it.
-
Didn't answer the question!
-
I did. You didn't do the exercise left up to the reader, but instead want to be spoon fed truths. Twitter isn't the sort of venue where complex questions can be answered. Fortunately, all you need to do is look at the Japanese system to get my point.
-
No the answer is simple. TRUCKS would be still be needed to move goods from the train to distribution to stores to the consumer. No train is going to pull up to someone's driveway.
