A self-driving shuttle bus was involved in a crash in Las Vegas less than 2 hours into its first trip. It was hit by a semi truck, and the driver of that vehicle received a ticket. It is the first time a self-driving shuttle bus was used on a public road.pic.twitter.com/5Xror40xFW

Driver's fault. The car did what it was meant to do in order to avoid the crash, but the semi was unavoidable in this case.

🤔🤔🤔 somn dont sound right. I doubt "human error" was the cause. The shuttle probably never stopped and the truck driver had no time to react.

Ever since the toll roads went in, the big trucks have taken over the public highways and their driving only seems to get worse over time. It's time to reconsider trains.

There is no valid argument against train infrastructure. Once you remove the corruption, it is by far the most efficient system for cargo delivery. Absolutely, irrefutably, and without a doubt.

I did. You didn't do the exercise left up to the reader, but instead want to be spoon fed truths. Twitter isn't the sort of venue where complex questions can be answered. Fortunately, all you need to do is look at the Japanese system to get my point.

No the answer is simple. TRUCKS would be still be needed to move goods from the train to distribution to stores to the consumer. No train is going to pull up to someone's driveway.
