There isn’t any other Workplace that would extend your benefits IF you were basically Fired bc of committing a crime (Domestic Violence)
especially after being in-prisoned. Think about it?

It’s not a choice , we don’t get to change history to our liking. He served and the system didn’t do its job.

Sadly until we know more about his military service we won't know what caused his mental illness. The air force had to find him mentally competent when he joined, otherwise he wouldn't have been allowed to serve.
-
They dishonorably discharged him for cracking his baby's skull and beating his wife. He is not a vet unless you serve honorably.

Could b argued that lack of mental help fueled his problems, maybe better screening b4 they’re inducted. But they still had obligation 2 report his mental & legal issues 2 block or at least flag his gun purchases.

I like my veterans who weren’t dishonorably discharged for bad conduct: beating his wife and fracturing his babies skull and 1 year prison.

So the VA refuses mental health care (any care) to vets who were dishonorably discharged . . . How’s that working for ya? Mental healthcare post service should be a required benefit for ALL vets regardless of honor status at discharge.
