Terrific. That way only the rich can afford to enjoy our National Parks. You know, the parks that supposedly belong to us, the people.

If that little bit of extra money keeps people from visiting, they couldn't afford the vacation in the first place.
-
The parks/lands must be maintained if we are to preserve them for future generations.
-
Yes. My argument is that money being wasted in other places by the govt could be used in Nat’ parks. With tax
$s we already paid. -
I see your point, but the government isn't going to worry about preserving these lands. If we want them, we must pay for them.
-
Otherwise I think we are on the same page :-)
-
By the time people realize what's really happening, it will be too late. Together we have the power to demand things from the government.
-
Yes. That is my point

That's it GOP. Make NPs only available to those that can afford it. And at the same time sell off the oil, gas, minerals & forest.

Cuz you know clean air is expensive to produce, man!
-
I know you meant that sarcastically, but it's true. Pollution doesn't stop at the edge of the park.
-
I totally agree Lisa. I meant more about access to nature outside of a city metropolis. Kids expecially should have access.
-
I see your point and agree with you as well. If we the people want to preserve these lands, we will have to do it ourselves. Govt won't.
-
The Federal government has been an absolute embarrassment. Certainly not for the people. Regardless of the side of the aisle.
-
Through the generations, the government has gained more power while we the people have lost more and more. Not sure that will ever change.
-
I'm honestly wondering if it's too late.
-
Not until Washington is flushed out. Too much money driving it these days. Congess is useless. Look at their donors!
