I mean what do you say in this instance?

He is brave. I wouldn't even be standing...outside of my home talking to these people...I would be in bed...in a state of shock & disbelief.
-
I have no idea what I would do and hope I never have to be placed in any kind of situation like this. He's a victim too.
-

Clearly, his brother was suffering from something. He just didn't know it.
-
I think the scariest thing is that that isn’t necessarily always true. Ordinary people are capable of horrible things, don’t need to be sick
-
Not sick, but suffering from something. He could have been drunk and out of his mind. Sick could mean a bunch of things.
-

His brother looks devastated
-
He really does.
-
I think it utterly disgusting that they shove a mic in his face (let alone seek him out) immediately.
-
Yeah, I really hate when they do that. We don't have to hear from family members immediately.
-
exactly.. I totally respect when family say no comment. Give them some time to digest it too

This brother - something off. Who laughs describing their brother who just killed dozens, and himself.
-
It's shock. Disbelief. Like an "are you kidding me?" laugh.
-
Exactly
