Wrong. The hotel created a dangerous condition that brought harm. A person on medication or Alzheimers would equally be harmed.
-
Why would such a person be without a chaperone? The individual(s) who provided the underage girl alcohol (or more) are liable.
-
No law says she had to be chaperoned. But you're right. The alcohol source has complicity.
-
Also, hotel stated the freezer doesn't lock from the inside. Her impairment ultimately led to her death.
-
Immaterial. The fact she was able to stumble in will make the case for negligence. My guess is it will be settled out of court.

She is 19. Who gave her alcohol then let her wander impaired to her room? This is so sad. RIP.
