        Bats have difficulty flying in the rain and often stay put, it also interferes with their echolocation

        That bridge is where their colony lives. A lot of them got stuck there when the waters rose. Once they got in the water they needed rescuing

        I moved to TX from the Midwest. The bats under bridges and in parking garages really freaked me @ first. Sometimes I left work @ 11pm. 1/
