Euthanasia us never involuntary. The patient has to request it himself & three independent doctors have to confirm he's terminal.

I had two cases of Assisted Suicide in the family so far, terminal cancer, it was the most dignified & peaceful dead imaginable.

I would have served time to help my Mum in her last few weeks of pain but she was too upset at the thought of me getting in trouble

That's what is so inhuman. People suffering in their last weeks/months is cruel, denying then a dignified end is just wrong.

Can only talk from personal experience but by the time she was ready to go (at 47 btw) it was too late and she needed help

After watching my grandma suffer w/ALS & an uncle w/Alzheimer's I don't see an issue with people who choose a more dignified way to die

I've watched all kinds of people die. There is no real dignity in death.

For some there is something to be said in choosing how to end your life in a more humane fashion.
