corporal punishment..physical abuse of children is illegal, it's a serious criminal offence in Canada. How in 2017 is this exceptible?

The article didn't say that the school system is legalizing child abuse, there is a difference.
-
It's the same thing????? A child is getting hit. This out outlawed in Canada over 50 years ago.

I don't believe in abuse.I believe, when they took prayer (respecting ALL faiths) and corporal punishment, they took away civility.

Is the same school district officially approving a return to the Middle Ages too? If I were a parent there I'd be in Court already.

1. Corporal punishment has never been illegal in Texas 2. Parents can exempt their children from the punishment by signing a slip
-
I didn't know you could sign a slip refusing it. Still horrified that in 2017 a school district would find paddling ok.

I remember when they did it in the stairwell to make it echo across the entire hall. I don't recall my friends engaging in graffiti after.
