I'd love to have one but the obstacle would be having a charging station.

Why's that Angela? Charging is easy in most homes.
-
It's not the homes to be worried about. It's Charging Stations that are not readily available here like they are in Europe & elsewhere.
-
OK so most people charge overnight at home. Tesla have superchargers everywhere. Grab the PlugShare app and have a look near you

I'm referring to road trips across the country. Most mom & pop gas stations will not have a charging station ok?
-
OK. Again, look at the supercharger network. Coast to coast, north to south is super easy.https://www.tesla.com/charging

You don't watch
@BBC_TopGear or@thegrandtour much, do you? I recommend you give them a watch. As I said earlier, apples to oranges? -

yes but will they be able to produce 20k cars a month like Musk claims?
-
Let's not forget that Tesla was only able to produce about 25,000 cars the first quarter of 2017 or about 8300 cars a month.
-
M3 line a lot more automated than Model S line. It's possible but very optimistic. First few thousand need real quality control b4 ramp up
-
Yes. Musk said by December Tesla is supposed to be producing 20,000 Model 3.
