Read the article. I'm from the south. That flag is at worst free speech, at best a reminder of fighting for state's rights. Calm down.
-
Spend ten minutes viewing photos at Birmingham Civil Rights Museum and you just might change your perspective. Kluckers adopted it as theirs
-
Almost forgot. Civil War was about slavery. Wrapping it in states' rights doesn't change that.
-
Unfortunately, the history leading up the war had little to do with slavery. It was made a major point post congressional fallout.

Lol. Late night. Just realized I'm debating a troll bot with 10 followers. I get pulled in every time. Back to sleep.

People you disagree with, or not worth your time, are "trolls". I consider everyone equal until they prove otherwise. True colors, Ray.

The Confederate Gov't lost the war. The American Gov't should not have allowed the losers to fly their banners on American Gov't property
-
after their surrender. No other nation who loses a war is allowed to do this. If a private citizen wants to fly the flag, that's a different
-
story but we're talking about the United States Gov't which represents ALL the peoples' heritages - not just the white side.
