(The gunman was from Illinois, but why let that ruin a good narrative, right?)

Look, lets save the gun talk and the Democrat violence talk- the guy was clearly insane and shouldn't represent anyone/anything

If killing innocent children in their classrooms didn't move people enough to want to effect changes, then what could?
-
How about teaching self-control? Stop putting the cart before the horse!
-
I'm all for self control, Kevin, but sociopaths and others can't seem to practice it, but they seem to be able to get a hold of gums.
-
Exactly. Criminals doing what criminals do. They don't follow the laws.

Saying things like this is part of the problem. It's not left or right. It's mental illness.

Notice this guy has no problem with "deranged" man being asked to buy guns

Oh good. More anti-gun agenda. But his gun permit was from gun-restrictive state Illinois.
-
It's not yet known where he got the guns or if he had them legally. Did you read the article?
-
I did. And that's irrelevant. He passed clearances to buy guns in one of the most anti-gun states. Had an active license. Would've passed.
-
Haha okay. It is completely relevant. He might not have gotten the guns in Illinois. That's the whole point.
-
No it's not. If he bought in VA or Illinois is irrelevant. He was cleared to buy them legally in the more anti-gun of the two.
-
However the background needs check pre-purchase in IL may have stopped him. At this point, we don't know where he got them.
-
If he got them in IL, then point conceded. If he got them in VA, the fact that he had a license in IL doesn't change things.
-
He had active concealed permit in Illinois. Could legally buy...you know, there are easier ways to tell me you don't know how this works.
