The key word is access. Access is not the same as coverage.

Healthcare insurance impacts access to healthcare. No insurance = No access to healthcare, especially preventative care.

50 yr old friend of mine died of pneumonia bc he didnt have health insur. Couldn't afford to see doc. We didnt realize how sick he was.

Speaking as someone who handles medical billing, office vists are typically $100-175, and ER visits can be in the thousands. Low cost, huh?
