There are people sitting in Cook County jail for well over a year with no trial only cause they can't pay bail. This is important.

i had a friend sit in jail for a year cause the judge set his bail so high there was no way possible for him to raise it!!

high bail are usually set for a reason... Danger, flight risk. What was the charge?
