I didn't read the HP books until about 2 years ago, in my late 30s because my Christian culture thought they were demonic. After reading them I realized the only "danger" was in young people learning to recognize injustice and be empowered to resist it.

I found them to be among the most Christian-themed books I've read, without being outrighly religious or analogous to Christianity (like Lewis's LWW). Not only filled woth xian symbolism, but Biblical ideas of good, evil, love, justice (and so much more) are front and center!
