I’d encourage looking into who has access to voting machines in those states. A clip or two of code, a handful of thumb drives, bribes for folks to turn a blind eye, and access to a few machines in select counties = marginal and nearly indiscernible changes to tallies.

We like to pretend like “hacking” is necessarily some complex process done from afar — but there’s no reason for that to be the case. The weakest links in the security chain of our electoral process are human. And this kind of operation doesn’t have to be complex at all.

Between elections, many voting machines are stored with no or minimal security. We have to wake up and start taking these possibilities seriously — and demand action by our elected officials to safeguard the infrastructure. NOTHING has changed in this regard since 2016.

Can’t speak to the other states but CO does most voting by mail. We get good turn out, excellent security and a paper trail for auditing. Trump/Russia will find it hard to directly cheat here.

NH has handmarked paper ballots. Optical scanner counting. Ballots can be handcounted & are in recounts. Paper voter checklist printed from state database. If db hacked so checklist at polls isnt correct, NH has same-day registration. Hassle but all still vote. #NHPolitics #FITN

They're targeting these states in 2020 to hack the machines. He's getting this lie out into the narrative now. They did the same thing in 2016 before Russia hacked those states. Someone needs to make sure that those states' machines are unhackable. #unhackthevote @mikefarb1

He doesn't need to "signal". He has many backchannel ways to get that info there. Like - say - sharing research?
