I hope she sues the pharmacist for every last cent.
-
She can’t in AZ he has a legal right not to fill. He did transfer her prescription to someone who would fill it. Per store policy.

Who is judging who?
-
The pharmacist was.

It's more about the non-religious pushing their anti-God immorality and ideology upon us. I'm all about people living in peace and harmony and individuals following their own path, but it's a two way street. It's called simple respect.
-
No. Immorality? WHOSE morality? Yours? That is equivalent to forcing YOUR beliefs on others, not the other way around. Respect? I have none for those who'd try to control what a woman chooses to do with her body and about her reproductive organs.

This title is misleading. The fetus had died inside her womb so she needed the drugs as a medical precaution
-
Isn't that what a miscarriage is?

I feel for the woman’s situation but the pharmacist just like a doctor should have the same religious and moral ability for objection to facilitate abortions. Just like if any drug that is prescribed interacts with something that could harm you they don’t fill it.
-
No. Pharmacists dispense meds prescribed by a physician. They can scientifically observe and alert a doctor about potential conflicts between current and prescribed meds, but there is no place for moral judgments in the transaction. Want to expound morals? get a pulpit.
-
So your Dr prescribed pentobarbital in one very large dose. That is a legal drug used to treat seizures. It is also the the drug they use to put your dog to sleep. Just fill it and forget you helped facilitate a death. No they get to object.
-
No. You fill the prescription, knowing that the doctor knows a helluva lot more about the situation (medical condition, diagnosis & prognosis) than a mere med dispenser.
-
It is called Ethics. Take a class.
-
Ethical pharmacology would be accomplished by carrying out the physician's written order for meds for HIS/HER patient. Refusal to do one's job, based on one's own morals, not on science, is an unethical interference in the doctor/patient relationship. Learn.your definitions.

I think he should probably take up his grievance with the planet's chief abortionist: The Lord God. That guy is ruthless.

Didn’t read the article huh? She miscarried twins.
