I live in GA and this isn't fake news. Uber is offering free rides to voting sites. Activists should be using this service 2 assist the affected. Kemp will cheat his way into Gov if more Georgians don't stand up against him and his GOP machine.

Does Uber Drive undocumented aliens to the polls also? Asking for a friend
-
People of color have the right to vote as of 1965 when the “Voting Rights Act” was passed. If you and your friend have a problem with the law, please contact your local representative. Other wise be quiet.
-
Who said anything about people of color? It's Curious that you're mind would go right there. In fact...
-
Had you bothered to read the article you would know that these are registered legal citizens who happened to be people of color. I live in Georgia and there are very strict laws about voting.

I still don't understand what happened and your use of passive voice isn't helping. Who forced the voters off the bus? Who said riding a bus to polls is a prohibited political activity?
-
It was a senior living center..the riders were residents. The retirement center would not authorize transportation by a third party.. It’s a litigious issue, not an oppressive issue.. Give the facts, instead of a narrative..
-
But the article says "county officials" said riding a bus to the polls was prohibited political activity.
-
That was said, as well as the third party transportation risks..
-
They are seniors, not school kids. Unless they've been deemed incompetent in a judicial proceeding, they can choose to ride any bus they want.
-
Senior center worker here: Jaden is 100% right. Living in a senior center doesn't make you not a citizen anymore, nor does it prevent you from leaving if you want or with whom you want. The facility has no say. The residents are tenants, not prisoners.

How can this be viewed as anything but racists and voter suppression!

GOP is not even trying to hide their blatant voter suppression now.
-
They gutted the voting rights act so they can maintain a white majority.
-
How is the GOP’s doing?

It is shameful what the
@GaRepublicans are doing in Georgia to help Kemp win. Is this 2018 or 1918? How can Kemp claim victory after suppressing votes?@TheDemocrats@MSNBC@CNNThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

What law is being broken? When they say it constitutes activism? which is code for- we closed all the voting stations around where you live, how dare you get on a bus, that messes up my whole racist agenda!!
-
This is very badly reported. What law have they broken? Is being in a bus with other seniors a crime? What is ‘political activity’ and how is this gathering prohibited?
