I was diagnosed at 22 months when home blood tests did not exist. This is a nice story about a gritty kid, but he does not require a service dog.

Service dogs can help kids who are hypo-unaware. My daughter is getting one for her T1 Diabetes. Who are you to say he doesn’t need one?!

We just gave the president and hundreds of other already ultra-wealthy elites HUGE tax cuts. This story isn't inspiring. It's a criminal failure. Of policy and morality.

Get off this thread with your political crap.

What a Christian thing to say, KB, to say nothing of the compassion you show for the sick child. I guess this is what you think Jesus would tweet...
-
Christians are the worst advertisement for Christianity. They are the reason for rapidly declining church numbers.

Teaching him a lesson that he can't depend on his parents for things he needs?
-
No, it's teaching him how honest work can get him the things he needs. Service Dogs like the one he need can be $30,000.
-
He is a disabled child. He really doesn't need to learn any lessons. He needs his parents to provide him with what he needs. They could start a GoFund me or another fund raiser.
-
Just because he has an autoimmune disease does not mean he's disabled. Sure he's got challenges, something a service dog can help him manage or overcome, especially as he learns to manage his own condition and gains better independence. You really need to get a grip.

Always some nice story on a white kid
-
Good Lord that’s hateful!
-
The truth is hateful. You Whites always like to pretend. When you suppose to take the moral high ground you turn a blind. I have no time for selective moral outrage. It is the truth deal with it. Damn hypocritics.
