If everyone read the complete article they would know this was a warning from Department of Natural Resources to hunters to keep an eye out for bovine tuberculosis that can be found in the animals. Not everyone knew.

I’ve harvested plenty of deer. If I encountered those signs during cleaning, I wouldn’t need your advice. I’d burn the whole carcass and wash my hands for days.

The Michigan DNR advisory is about white-tailed deer, not the fallow deer in the stock photo with your story. Michigan doesn’t have a population of fallow deer or season for them. Educate yourselves so you don’t look stupid.
